Belleair

An established Pinellas peninsula community built around golf and Clearwater Harbor.

Overview

Belleair is one of the older established communities on the Pinellas peninsula, set on the land between Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. Its identity was shaped by the golf course now known as Pelican Golf Club and by the historic Belleview Biltmore Hotel, and the town today keeps a quieter, more residential character than the barrier island beach towns to its west.

Unlike Gulf-front communities such as St. Pete Beach or Treasure Island, most of Belleair sits back from the open Gulf, bordered instead by the separate towns of Belleair Beach and Belleair Shore along the coast. That gives the community a different feel: larger lots, a lower density of condominiums, and a market built more around single-family and golf course homes.

Legacy Real Estate Associates represents buyers and sellers in Belleair and throughout Pinellas County from our Bradenton office. We work with buyers relocating from other states who are drawn to Belleair's established, low-density character, and with sellers looking for a firm that understands how the community compares to the beach towns nearby.
