Pinellas County, FL
Madeira Beach
Overview
Madeira Beach is built around John's Pass, the inlet that separates it from Treasure Island and gives the town its identity as a working waterfront. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, with its charter boats and shops built out over the water, sits at the island's north end, while the rest of Madeira Beach is a mix of canal-front homes, condominiums, and beach cottages.
The working fishing heritage is still visible in the charter fleet and seafood houses around the pass, which gives Madeira Beach a different feel than some of the more purely residential beach towns nearby. For buyers, that means weighing proximity to John's Pass against the quieter residential streets farther south, and for sellers it often means highlighting water access as much as the home itself.
Legacy Real Estate Associates represents buyers and sellers throughout Pinellas County, including Madeira Beach, from our office in Bradenton. We work with relocating buyers who are often drawn specifically to the boating and fishing lifestyle around John's Pass, and we help them understand what that proximity means for a given property, from dock access to foot traffic near the boardwalk.
