Treasure Island occupies a barrier island between St. Pete Beach and Madeira Beach, known for the wide stretch of sand at Sunset Beach on its south end and a network of canal-front streets that give much of the island a strong boating character alongside its Gulf Boulevard hotels and condominiums.
